One last post for the year 2010 - What a year! Here are our 3 precious kids:)
And our not so precious tree!! We have never had such a horrible tree! We went to one of those "cut your own" places and brought it back and put it right in water. But it started shedding the next day and after only 3 weeks looked like this! It was painful to walk in the living room!!!
It was the funniest looking tree ever too (o.k. it was the cheapest one we could find that is why!). We couldn't put the ornaments on the bottom of the tree because Elsie pulled off and broke anything within her reach so all the ornaments were on the top (which you can see there wasn't much room for ornaments!).
I remember one night Stephen and i were exhausted looking at all the mess of toys and needles all over our house and the strange arrangement of ornaments on the tree. We just broke out laughing and feeling a little sad - laughing at how ridiculous it all looked and sad that this stage is so short. And when our house and tree looks perfect some day we will miss these times with little ones:)
What do you do when you are stuck inside 6 months of the year? Mommy pulls you back and forth in the wagon (all of 10 feet). Yep, this was one favorite winter activity!
