After spending the Christmas season on our own at home without extended family, we were especially excited to be able to drive a "short" distance (yes, everything is relative! 600 miles is short) to spend New Year's with some of the Oberas!

Trevor wrestling with the boys! (mommy hoping none of the breakables nearby get broken!!).

Boys watching "Miss Pattycake" while the adults watch "What About Bob" (and eat a "What About Bob" meal!)

The boys were so excited that we were staying at a hotel for 2 nights and could go swimming! They had a blast doing that and enjoyed being pushed like boats in their floaties by daddy! (sorry, no pictures in the actual pool! We have a really hard time just making sure all 3 of them are safe there!)

One funny memory about the pool was the lifeguard. It was a small, indoor pool (couldn't have been more than 12 feet long and the hot tub didn't work) and we were the only ones at the pool and here sits a lifeguard! Apparently it is a law in that county in DC!

With Noni and Papa Bub

Aunt Diane and Uncle Pete were so gracious to have us come visit. Andrew loves puzzles and is trying to tackle this 1000 piece! And Aunt Diane served us all a beautiful afternoon tea, along with some delicious meals.

With some of the cousins - McKenzie, Callie and Kiri

I got to see my cousin who lived just a few minutes away - Rebecca. Hadn't seen her in years so it was fun to catch up!
