Our little girl is almost a year old! What a joy she is. Finally some teeth broke through during months 10 and 11. She got her 2 top "fang" teeth first, then her bottom 2. Hard to tell in the pictures but her smile was pretty cute like that!
Elsie is quite proficient at standing now and has even taken a step on her own! Still prefers crawling and loves using her pacifier. She continues to try to participate in whatever her brothers are doing and destroying their projects keeping mommy very busy! And has the usual interest in the bathroom and sticking her hand in the toilet if she can ever sneak in there! (a main reason why i am holding off potty training Jack a little longer!).
She continues to not eat - no baby food, no bananas, veggies or most fruits. Of course she loves crackers and mum mums when she can get her hands on them! She continues to get most of her nutrition from nursing which means she feeds 2-3 times at night (and often snuggles between Stephen and i in bed:).
I love seeing her communicate. She is pointing at things and waving and clapping. She gets very excited about the boys and one activity she has started to be able to do is push a box in the hallway with them! They do adore their little sister.

It's hard sometimes, but oh so very sweet. :)
Are Elsie and Ella somehow communicating? Because the only thing Ella will stand is a small amount of cracker. Even at 12 months, she's still nursing almost every hour or two. I wouldn't be surprised if she didn't really start taking solids until 2 years. Guess we'll see!
