Andrew turns 4

Andrew has been talking about being 4 the whole year so it was really exciting when his birthday finally arrived! I made a Thomas cake the night before and added Annie and Clarabel per his request:)

Andrew had to pose for all his shots with 4 fingers. He also for several days drew "A4" on everything!

Excited about the cake:)

The day was really fun. i really want their birthdays to be low key and relaxing but fun and i was happy that it turned out to be that way. We had a leisurely morning eating pancakes and opening a few presents. The boys got to watch an hour of Thomas (usually i limit tv time to 30 minutes if at all!). We played some games together and Andrew got to take a lot of calls from family for his birthday.

Andrew surprised me by actually sleeping during his nap time for a few hours and i made the finishing touches of his cake and his birthday meal: Meatloaf, mashed potatoes and squash (his requested birthday meal).

Jack was so excited and loved opening the presents along with Andrew!

Elsie thought it was pretty exciting too!

Some presents from mom and dad. We have been saving these since summer garage sales! Thomas Lego set, Thomas train carrier and a Thomas pull train.

Dinner party:) We had our friends Matt and Sally over with their kids Ava and Cooper. Ava is just 3 days younger than Andrew and Cooper is just a month younger than Jack. The boys decorated the table clothe earlier in the day and made a train craft from Nonna.
