August visits...

My brother Jesse and family came on a Monday afternoon and stayed through til Thursday morning. Both my sisters came down and all 9 kids were together for the first time (last time we were together there were only 6 born!)

We rented this bouncy house in the backyard for the occassion. The kids seem to enjoy, (as well as the adults at times!) and Andrew was quite sad to see it gone on Thursday!

Alyssa gave us a little scare the last night hurting her leg jumping. She didn't walk on it for a few days but it healed on its own.

Since the Roberts' came the last night of Nonna and Pawpaw's visit, we had 17 sleeping at the house. The plan was to have Jesse and kids sleep in this tent, but around 4 a.m. the thunderstorms hit. We had a good laugh in the morning about all the crying babies during the night - Nonna and Pawpaw were very good sports to help us out and sleep amidst the chaos!

The toddlers playing. We soon discovered that being outnumbered 9 kids to 6 adults made life a little crazy! And having 6 kids 2 and under even crazier!!! But i suppose my grandma had 8 kids in 10 years so this was life for her all the time!
