Elsie is still such a happy, content little baby. She loves her pacifier and is smiling and interacting more and more each day.
I have loved sleeping with each baby at this stage. I usually sleep with her on the couch every night. I get a little nervous sleeping in the bed with her because of getting into a really deep sleep. So i sleep lightly on the couch with her and she sleeps great. She is so content in a swaddle. It is funny... she just lays there as you wrap her arms up tight, looking into your eyes with this sweet trusting look. Then you give her the pacifier and she is asleep within seconds. The boys never stood for the swaddle routine! That being said she is an unpredictable sleeper at times. Usually with the boys they would be up into the early morning hours, then sleep well from like 5 a.m.-11 a.m. But Elsie seems to do something different each night and sometimes is up all night till 9 or 10 a.m.
Jack especially loves to hold Elsie. Every morning the first thing out of his mouth when he sees her is "hold her". Then he usually asks at least 10 times a day to hold her. He gets this real cute, shy look on his face every time he holds her too!
Andrew enjoys holding Elsie when he sees Jack holding her:) He enjoys interacting with her more than holding her - like talking baby talk to her, telling her she looks pretty, teasing her with the pacifier, trying to scare her with noises. Usually he is real sweet with her, but i have to remember he is only 3 and sometimes 3 year olds are a bit unpredictable in moments of great excitement!
