Playing in the mud

Finally the snow is gone and beautiful spring has arrived!!! First we have mud season and the boys were pretty funny in their boots. They had so much fun outside. I am always amazed at what they do - never playing with their toys the way they were intended but finding odd containers/brooms/sticks etc. and doing various things. Like the picture below of Jack!

Speaking of Jack, he is just obsessed with his pockets. He walks around all the time putting his hands in his pockets. He makes me nervous that he is going to fall flat on his face with his hands stuck in his pockets! He loves to put balls and stones in his pockets too. And sweatshirts are another favorite. They have to have a hoodie and a zipper and he is constantly unzipping it, then desperately asking for help to zip it back up again! And the hood must be on too.

I like this shot of Andrew throwing the frisbie. He was really getting into throwing it for a while - he is so good about going up to this hill to throw it away from us.

they are such the little explorers :) I love Jack's little pocket obsession - makes me think of someone I knew who made a 'pocket' quilt. It had about 12 pockets on it - each one opened a different way, zipper, string, buttons, fold, etc. Inside of each was a treasure -It was the cutest thing :)
