Our little Elsie has won the prize for the best hospital/ week 1 baby! She has eaten like a charm and seems to burp and poop quite well (sounds like a silly thing to be grateful for but it makes for a much happier baby!!!). We'll see how week 3 goes - seems like that is when signs of colic set in. Hoping for a colic free first few months!!
Some of the physical characteristics we noticed right away about her are her ears - she has matching "tags" on both ears that look a lot like the tags my dad has on his! It was the first thing the nurse noticed about her. She has broad shoulders and chest, a tiny waist and very skinny legs! She has very long fingers and feet - actually i think they are longer than either of the boys at birth! We can't get over how much her pictures look like Jack's first few weeks of life!
Still has the blue eyes. They often seem a little worried - i wonder if it is from all the head "pats" and kisses she gets from her brothers! Her hair is real light in many areas. I think she might start out with very light brown hair.
