I always assumed if i had a girl she would have brown hair and brown eyes - same as myself, my sisters and my mom. But we are quite surprised to still see very blue eyes in Elsie even now at 1 month old!! I think her hair that is growing in has a light tone to it as well. She might just be taking after her aunt Emily:)) Time will tell...

I hope they stay blue! We were certain Hudson's eyes would NOT be brown. Even at 16 months they were more green/hazel/gray than anything. But, alas, they are now brown. I guess my genes are more dominant than we expected. :)
