a visit with Emily and Jesse

In the beginning of November, we took a drive to Lafayette IN to meet up with Emily and meet her then boyfriend Jesse (they got engaged 2 days later! Yippeee:)

The weather was beautiful - sunny and 70 degrees. We spent the afternoon at a park playing and eating.

Jack was so exhausted by all the excitement! The boys don't sleep real well in the car usually!

We walked around Purdue and got to see the basketball team practice! Excited to see how they do in March Madness now:)

I love this picture of our pizza time in the evening. It really was a perfect day and we loved to get to know our future brother-in-law better!
