A Day out with Thomas

On September 18th, we had our family's version of Disney world:) Really our kids have only gotten into the Thomas videos and books so it seemed fitting to surprise them with a trip to see Thomas.

Thomas came to Lebanon Ohio, a very cute little town an hour away. We told the boys that Saturday morning we were going to go see a surprise and they had no idea!

The boys were mostly overwhelmed by the crowds and the excitement but Andrew did get real excited when he saw Thomas and of course once we got on the train they were super excited.

The ride was funny. 25 minutes long - that includes the boarding time. They pull you out about 7 minutes (with really loud thomas music/stuff playing in the background), then push you back to the station. Then the next group gets on. Thousands of people show up for these short rides but we had to admit it was totally worth it:)

The have a large tent set up with merchandise for sale and free ice cream which we had fun checking out. The line to see Sir Tophamhat was a little long but we saw him from a distance.

It was fun to be with so many other families who had little "Thomas" fans.

Elsie taking a nap. Love that she still falls asleep with me.
