Jack Is 2!!
The Thomas cake. I hated to repeat the train theme (it was Andrew's 2nd birthday theme) but there really wasn't anything more fitting for Jack! He just loved his Thomas Cake.
Andrew has been talking about his 4th birthday since January and he tells me he wants a cake just like Jack's, except with freight cars. Better save the cake pan:)
We had a small party with some neighbor friends. Miciah and his parents are friends from college and have been in China this past year. The boys loved playing with Miciah (who also just turned 2).
Jack's favorite meal: mac n cheese (kraft of course:) and hotdogs, corn on the cob, cake. Who wouldn't love that?!

Slip n sliding (Thanks Grammy and Grandpa B.):) This was so much fun to do with friends! The boys (including the "grown" boys) did this for at least an hour! Andrew and Jack were ready for cake by then but it took quite a bit of coaxing to get Miciah to finish slip n sliding!
Fun presents. Since Andrew has been talking non-stop about his birthday, Jack was super excited for his to come! For now, the presents were both the boys to open. Andrew was so excited for Jack!
A "new" used train set i found at a garage sale. We seriously play with trains about an hour or 2 every day!

Looks like fun! I always try to repeat the same themes with Bethany and Joanna. It makes it easier. Now Joanna wants a mermaid birthday every year!
