Sugaring in Vermont!

We had a great spring break in Vermont. We debated for a while which week in march to go and we ended up going the week if the best sugaring! Stephen and the boys it to go on several loads and the boys got to to with their cousins. We spent some time at the sugar shack too and the kids loved running through the steam outside. We spent an evening at aunt Julia's house trying to catch Stanley the cat and having dinner. Stephen built a huge hay maze of over 200 bales and the kids had a blast playing tag and having an Easter egg hunt up there. Elsie and rebekah started playing together and all the girls had to do everything together. Josie and Ethan had a few times playing together and Josie enjoyed taking out Ethan's paci and putting it in her mouth. The 3 older kids had no fear of the animals or the barns. Jackson enjoyed dressing up like superman. He would get all shy and ask me in another room to put his cape on then he jumped out to show everyone. One time carter was upset that jack kept talking like he was superman. Geneva told carter it was ok because jack was just pretending he was superman. Jack said "I'm not pretending. I am superman!!". He is convinced at times that he is. Andrew loved playing foosball in the basement. One day he said "the basement is my favorite place!" Made us chuckle since it is filled with spider webs. He also loved the march madness brackets and we enjoyed watching a few games together. Love seeing the cousins growing up together. Another fun memory was going to church together. All 22 of us went and miraculously all the kids made it through the church service. After we all took 5 cars and all the kids wanted to ride in different cars. It was hard to keep track of where all 12 kids were going and as we were getting everyone settled we realized uncle Micah was still in the church. I guess in the age of cell phoned he wouldn't get left for long. We were glad all the kids made it home ok!
