Elsie turns 3

This felt like such a big birthday! Or maybe more of a big milestone!! 3 years of caring for 3 babies/toddlers/preschoolers, 3 years of getting much needed help from others. 3 years of a whole lot of staying home!! Now it just seems like a blink of an eye... 3 years of nursing Elsie, 3 years of her mostly sleeping in our room/or bed. 3 was my goal to be transitioning these things and to reach 3 felt like such a victory!. It is neat to look back and feel like i wouldn't have changed anything about my time with her over the last 3 years. Now her personality is really coming out. She is such a bubbly joy to be around, so girly, so in tune with what is going on around her and expressing herself, such the cleaner, a giver of cuddles and very full of life. She loves to twirl and make up stories and be with her brothers and Josie. She had a great day turning 3.. Nonna was here and daddy had work off. She had a good nights rest, played wii and opened presents. The day was so cold but everyone managed to make it to chik-a-filet for a birthday party. She fell asleep on the way home and has gone to bed in her own bed now every night. These years just fly by so much faster with each child!! i was so excited to finally give her a doll I bought a year and a half ago. She was ok with it but I think in another year or two will love playing with it:).
