Life on the Farm

Lauren loves playing with hair! She esp. liked Jack's hair:)

Picnic~
Sorting grain and corn was a daily activity.

Jack went nuts over the kittens. He always tried pulling them in the wagon.


Andrew just loves hanging out with Carter. It is cute to watch.

Playing with water is even more fun when you have chickens to chase and dump the water on!

If you could see these boys with the kittens you would wonder why the kittens were chasing them!! They were tough little kitties.


Andrew loved riding the tractor with Grandpa. It was definitely the highlight. I couldn't believe how he never looked back - he is getting so big!

Jack just loved the kittens and chased them everywhere (there were 20+ so plenty to chase!). He would hold them, then drop them. We had to watch him closely - he would often grab them by the neck.



Playing in mud was another daily activity.

Lauren would watch the boys playing in mud and put her hands on her hips like me. So funny!



I'm not sure how many kittens she would nurse at a time but it was a lot!

We would watch grandpa feed the cows. I always loved watching it growing up and it was fun to see Andrew get such a kick out of it too.

Riding in the truck with grandpa to the other barn was lots of fun.

The kids would feed the cows with scoops.

Stephen, Elsie and I got to celebrate our 6th anniversary together! It was so fun. We walked along the lake on the bike path.

We had supper and some Lake Champlain chocolates, took a stroll down church street and took a picture in front of the church we got married at! Then Stephen flew back to the Ohio for the rest of the week:((

This second tractor ride the boys got to see the grass mowed. This time Jack rode too and he just loved it. He still says "ride tractor Grandpa. FUN!!".
