potty...

We took our first trip to the library together to get books. It was fun - Andrew is finally at an age where he is pretty responsible with books so i had a lot of fun picking out a box full of new ones. He loved the "Spot" books and a few others. But when it came to this 5 page little boy "potty" book, he was captivated. He must have had us read it to him 100X a day for a week (no exageration there!) and he even slept with it for several days! I never would have guessed he would respond that way!

We got a little potty seat and Andrew gets very uncomfortable if he poops in his diaper and immediately asks me to change him. I guess it is time for potty training - i was going to hold off till summer time when he doesn't have to wear layers of clothes but we might try it a little sooner since he has such an interest right now.
