Elsie Rae at 3 months...

I am desperately behind in posting pics but am finally getting some time to empty the memory cards and wanted to post a more recent picture of Elsie. 3 months to me is a bitter/sweet time. Bitter because my baby is no longer a newborn, and sweet because she is smiling, cooing, and sleeping more regularly! This is my favorite age - between 3-6 months so i am loving the moments with her. She is a cuddler - loves to be swaddled and held constantly. She loves her pacifier, although her mommy has a love/hate relationship with it! It is a lifesavor with the craziness of having 3 so close together, but sometimes i don't think she eats or sleeps as well because of wanting it! She loves her brothers - she is starting to coo and smile at them which is tons of fun! She burps and passes gas so easily - i never remember the boys having such an easy time with that. But she only manages a few poopy diapers a week - thankfully she seems pretty happy so i don't think it bothers her. Slate blue eyes are still her color. She reminds us so much of Jack at this age. She takes about 3 naps a day and finally will take them on her own in her crib. Don't get me wrong, i love holding her for every nap time! But she is starting to not sleep as easily just anywhere (life is a bit too exciting around here!) and it is good to have 3 or 4 hours of time during the day to devote to the boys and stuff in the house. She goes to bed now around 8 and stays in our room/bed til late morning. It is nice to have a bit more sleep at night! I am feeling a bit more normal now:) Loving the pink!
