Jack's 10 month pictures...

I think he looks so old in these pictures! His hair has grown out enough so that it stays down now. Jack continues to be such a great joy. He loves to wave - he waves at everyone he sees. When we are out in public he still tries to catch peoples eyes and gives them a big smile and wave.

Jack continues to be my picky eater although we have made some progress! He eats warm grape nuts in milk consistently and i have lately discovered that he loves tomatoes and anything with tomato sauces! (now tomatoes are one thing that Andrew will not eat. Go figure).
Jack is pretty sensitive still - if we tell him "no" to not touch something he really takes it to heart and even looks a little hurt. He also gets his feelings hurt easily by his brother. He is even sensitive about what touches his legs - for instance when he crawls on the grass he won't touch his knees to the ground but instead sticks his butt up in the air and uses his toes! It is funny.
Jack still prefers nursing - Andrew really didn't want anything to do with it at this age but Jack will not take a bottle. He is learning how to play with his brother. He has learned to be careful to not take or destroy what his brother is playing with (it is funny to watch his mind go as he tries to decide whether to participate in play with Andrew). If Jack destroys something Andrew has been playing with Andrew yells "no Jack, share!". It is funny what Andrew thinks sharing is!
Jack is just getting his 2 top teeth in at 10 months. We had a nice 4 month period without any new teeth. He keeps getting colds - Andrew got so many at this age too but now he stays very healthy. I blame it on the fact that i can't keep this little guy off the floor, esp public floors - he does not sit or stay with you for more than a few seconds before he gets himself to the floor. He crawls very fast and stands/walks around objects. He hasn't ventured into walking with a walker yet.
